Alum
About Me:
I have a Bachelor of Science degree from ESU in Psychology and a Master of Science degree from ESU in Instructional Design and Technology. In my time in Emporia, I worked in the Instructional Design and Technology Computer Lab, participated in the short lived Video Club, and also served as a represenative for the Graduate Student Council.
Since leaving Emporia, I have worked as a web designer, a mulitimedia specialist for SolidA, Inc., and I am currently the Production Coordinator at Washburn University in Topeka KS, where I am responsible for the production of videos and multimedia that range from suplimental course material, to documentaries (such as "the Kansas Governor" which a coworker and I produced, this project recieved a bronze Telly Award and aired on every PBS station throughout the state), and even to the live production of Washburn sporting events for the MIAA.
I'm working on a possible sabbatical in Thailand -- for the entire family -- next summer and fall. I'll keep you posted. Deanne is not teaching at the Middle School this year so we have more time .... working on vocabbusters 2 soon.
How's Washburn? Susan Stewart applied for an ID job there recently. She's really sharp. I think she worked for the FBI in the past. She rented our house for 2 years while we were in Wisconsin.
I can't say that I know what the weather is like in Emporia or any other exotic location that you can think of but let me assure you that "it's Hot in Topeka..."
