A tough question. I will be interested in seeing what folks suggest.
Thanks for the recommendation. This sounds like a very useful presentation topic.
I'd also like to suggest my colleague Amber Nutt's presentation on ScreenSteps. If your job requires you creating step-by-step software instructions with screen shots it's a valuable addition to your toolbox. I think she presents on Thursday. Aaron

Interesting article discussing the ways we learn about new technologies in order to decide whether or not to support and implement. Includes an "Evolution of the Online Ecosystem" diagram on page 24.

Welcome!

Hello! Thanks for visiting the IDT at ESU network on Ning. This is a place for current and former students and faculty from the Department of Instructional Design and Technology at Emporia State University to share news, ideas, and support. Read more about this project.

Goals:
  • Current students can ask alumni questions best answered by those currently in the field.
  • Current students and alumni can network for employment opportunities and internships.
  • Current students, alumni, and faculty/staff can keep up on the latest happenings in the IDT department.
  • And most importantly, we can all get to know each other a little better! (Kind of hard, sometimes, in a distance learning program)
